Wednesday night I was filled with the Holy Spirit.

Ron gave his testimony; and for the first time, I told someone what happened to me.

I have found new strength because I know that God has my back no matter what comes my way.

Your own personal stories touched me, and I was glad God brought you to camp that week.

This week at camp our youth group was changed.
|
|
I let go of all the anger and hurt that I've had in my life from being raped, doing drugs and alcohol, and anger towards my family. I layed it all down and told God that I surrender my all to Him. I'm going to live my life for Him and only Him.
|
|
I'm changed. I've never felt so connected to God! I have loved God all my life, but I never felt the love this strong.
|
|
On Monday, I gave my all to God. Tuesday, I forgave so many people. Wednesday, I was filled with the Holy Spirit. On Thursday, my relationship with my brothers was changed.
|
|
Thank you for letting God use you this week. A lot of new changes are going to happen in my life now.

I was a counselor at Bible Camp, and I just want to say thank you for being so real. I was deeply moved to step it up in my own walk with the Lord. The testimonies were so different this year from our youth. I believe that they have seen the truth of God's Word more deeply than ever before and that it will have long term effects on their personal walk with God.
