I've always had a heart for my school, but I've been the "sit-back-and-do-nothing" Christian. So the message on Sunday was totally for me. I cried out ot God to give me a fire and a passion. My friend came with me to church, and I'm trying to invite others.

The first night of camp was amazing. God came over me, and I gave Him everything. I felt so relieved and free! I know, no matter what, that God is my strength; and the devil can't bring me down.

The Lord spoke through you recently at our church about how God can perform miracles. When you had people come to the altar to pray for our miracle, my need was met. I received my healing in my stomach. Praise God. The Lord is awesoome, and He teaches us to believe in Him and walk by faith.

I've been through a lot of things, and i'm just exceedingly happy that the Lord takes away my pain. At this point, everything that's happened to me seems like it was meant for something; and I've come to have peace about it for that very reason. I was molested twice as a child and had my house burned down. I know that if I can help one person with my testimony, it will have been worth it. People need to know that Jesus wants us to come as we are; that's why he died for us. Even though i have been a liar and allowed myself to feel so lonely- lonely to the point of trying to kill myself - God loves me anyways. Sometimes it's hard to fathom why, but I know that God is going to do some awesome things in me and through me. And that makes me very excited. One fruit of the spirit that people seem to forget is longsuffering. I pray that through our suffering people are blessed, through our suffering others may be healed of theirs, and through our suffering may God be glorified. Amen.

The Word of God that you shared was very touching. It has helped me with my spiritual walk and has strengthened it.

God helped me this week that being myself and letting others see who He is in me doesn't make me vulnerable, and there is nothing to fear because He is always there. For the first time in years, I feel free to just be myself and not hold anyone back. The bubble has been burst! I feel as though I have been holding my breath for a very long time and have now been able to release the air held up within me and freely breathe. I am now willing to go where God leads me. I know in my heart that God has called me to some form of ministry, but I have been avoiding it. I don't have to concern myself with fear anymore. I don't have to worry about someone trying to destroy the person He has made me. All I have to do is trust that my heart is in God's hands and be myself. He will bring everything about according to His perfect plan. The past and all of its pain no longer has any control over me. The roots of that tree have been ripped out, and now I am free to be who I am in God!

This time at camp, God really spoke to me about letting go and giving all of my grief and troubles to Him.
|
|
At camp, God really rocked my world. I received peace for the first time in months. I felt happy again, wasn’t angry, wasn’t sad. God showed me that I don’t need to rely on myself for everything. He provides so much.
