In December, Ron and Heather went to the Amazon area of Macapa, Brazil, to conduct the 20th Soccer Salvation Camp and Crusade for Ron Rhoads Ministries. The camp and crusade were very successful with response to altar ministry each time the invitation was given. On the last night of the crusade, many parents responded to salvation as well. The local pastor reported that 90% of the campers responded to salvation at the camp.

Ron worked with a church in Fortaleza, Brazil, to conduct a camp and crusade. There were 130 campers present who received brand-new soccer balls and Bibles. There were 150 meals served each day to campers and workers. One of the coaches who helped with a team during the camp was a camper at a Soccer Salvation Camp held there in Fortaleza four years ago. Despite obstacles, many lives were touched by the power of Jesus Christ during this camp and crusade.
