In April, 2008, Ron and Heather led a team from the U.S. and conducted a Soccer Salvation Camp and Crusade in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.  This was the first held in this country, and it was a great success.  Campers and their families were able to participate in soccer drills and games, as well as hear the gospel of Jesus Christ.  At least 43 campers responded to the call for salvation.

The numerical report for the camp is as follows:

• 92 campers
• 42 leaders/coaches/refs 
• 400 meals served
• 105 soccer balls
• 140 t-shirts
• 100 Bibles
